Those Three Chapter 29

Max and Alana had gone inside. Max went in Alana’s home and into her bedroom once he stopped crying. The two were sitting on her bed. Alana was still surprised that he had came over. She thought for sure she wouldn’t really hear from him again.

“Um… Do you want to be single and not be with me or… do you want to still be with me?” Alana asked nervously. She felt her heart beating fast. She was scared asking him this question but felt that she had to.

“I really didn’t get a lot of time to think it over, but… I… I don’t want to. Don’t want to leave you. I promised you I wouldn’t leave you if you did get pregnant. And I just lied and did it anyways. Alana…” Max touched her face. She blushes at him. “I love you.”

“I love you too.” Alana’s face was red. She felt her heart beating fast. “I love you, Max!” Alana started to cry.

“I’m sorry.” Max wanted to bring Alana close to him and he did. He hugged her. Alana hugs him back while crying.

Lacy just wanted to go home. She didn’t want to stay at the hospital any longer. As soon as her parents came, Lacy wanted them to just take her home, and that’s what they did. They were concerned for Lacy but decided to take her home as she wanted. They also had Robert in the backseat of their car as they made their way home.

“Are you sure you didn’t want to be dropped off at your home?” Rick asked Robert.

“I think I might spend the night with Lacy.” Robert responded.

“Lacy, how did you get so beat up?” Abbilynn asked. Lacy was staring out the window.

“It doesn’t matter.” Lacy answers. Lacy just didn’t feel like talking much about it. She just wanted to get home and relax. Her body ached.

When they got home Lacy goes straight to her bedroom. Robert follows her in and makes sure she gets to her bed. Abbilynn and Rick were in the living room together.

“Why do you think Lacy was beat up like that?” Abbilynn asks Rick.

“I am not sure, but maybe just give her time to talk about it.” Rick responds. He sat down on the sofa.

“Rick, aren’t you even concerned about her?” Abbilynn asks. She felt like Rick didn’t even care if Lacy was hurt. He didn’t seem to care. He stared at Abbilynn.

“I care, it’s just we can’t force her to tell us. Who knows. Maybe it involves Peg. The two fight a lot don’t they?”

“Now that you mention it, yes they do. I mean recently Lacy did punch Peg and I had to stop her. Do you think she beat her up as revenge?” Abbilynn asks Rick.

“It’s a possibility.” Rick got up and left the living room.

“Some times I think that Peg is rude. I tried being nice to her, considering the fact that she is Rick’s daughter, but that girl is just beyond rude. Rick in the end didn’t get full custody of Peg, but he did have her come and visit sometimes. But Peg is now of age, she still comes around but it feels like all she does is come over to fight. Lacy and Peg practically hate each other.” Abbilynn thought to herself. “I should probably tell James what happened, he is spending the night with Nikki. So he doesn’t know yet about Lacy.”

Robert and Lacy were together in her bedroom. Robert was staring at Lacy who had passed out on her bed. Robert was staring down at her. “It’s strange. I never used to believe in love, but… I fell in love with Lacy. I love her a lot and want to be with her. I want to marry her. I know Lacy probably doesn’t care about marriage, but I want her to be my wife.” Robert thought to himself.

Lacy didn’t return to school for a few days. Alana was worried about her and wanted to check on her, she also wanted to tell her that her and Max had gotten back together. She didn’t want to text her, she wanted to see her in person since she heard about what had happened to her. Katie and Madison were worried about Lacy too and decided to follow Alana after school to Lacy’s home.

When they got to the house, they were greeted in by Abbilynn. They quickly made their way to Lacy’s bedroom.

“I am really sorry for what had happened.” Alana apologized as she opened the door. Lacy was in her bed reading a book. She looked up from her book and saw Alana, Katie, and Madison coming into her bedroom. She closes her book and puts it on the end table near her bed. As she did this, she had to put effort into doing it because of her broken arm.

“It’s not really that much of a big deal. One of my arm is kinda broken so it’s kinda hard I guess using one hand and stuff, but I’m managing.”

“Who beat you up?” Katie asked looking at Lacy. She was covered in bruises.

“Some fucking slut and her friends.” Lacy responds. Katie covered her mouth from laughter. Madison let out a little giggle.

“Did anyone um… do anything about this? Like did the girl and her friends get in trouble?” Katie nervously asks. Lacy shook her head.

“No. I don’t really want to tell on Peg. I hate her yes, but… She doesn’t need to get in trouble for this. I had it coming.” Lacy responds.

“Wait… When Craig helped me before… Peg’s friends… They were going to do this to me what they did to Lacy?” Alana thought to herself as she stared at Lacy. “If that happened, would’ve lost Max’s baby?” Alana felt bad that Lacy had gotten beaten up. She was hoping it wasn’t because of her that this had happened.

“I was hitting Peg first before for no reason, and she got me back later. That’s all it was.” Lacy explained.

“Yeah, but to get her friends to help beat you up? That wasn’t right.” Katie sat down on the bed by Lacy.

“Peg is so mean! She was always trying back then to separate Bryan and me.” Madison says feeling like she was a little mad with Peg.

“Tell me about it, she tried to do that to Craig and me.” Katie admits.

“She tried multiple attempts to get Robert and me to break up too. She’s such a slut she can’t even remember who she slept with.”

“Um,.. I know this isn’t much to do with anything. But um… Max and I… We’re back together and he wants to be there for the baby and me.” Alana blushes a little as she was nervous as she told the girls.

“That’s so great!” Madison smiled and also sat down on Lacy’s bed next to Katie. “I am happy for you two.”

“Yeah, but what about you and Bryan? Are you going to go back out with him?” Alana asks Madison. She shrugs her shoulders.

“Don’t have a clue if I will or not. I love Bryan, but we fight all the time. That’s not true love, is it?” Madison asks. “Besides when we fought, he thought kissing me was going to solve everything. Or trying to do you know what.”

“Yeah but making up is so much fun. I love making up with Robert during an argument.” Lacy blushed thinking about times that Robert and she made up from an argument.

“So how did you two make up? How did Max make up with you?” Katie asks Alana. She was smiling devilishly. Alana blushed red.

“Tell me the details.” Lacy wanted to hear about it.

“N-No! I mean he was upset and cried but…” Alana looked down.

“But what?” Katie asks.

“His grandpa passed away.” Alana responds.

“Oh. I am sorry.” Katie looked down.

“So when you two made up, did you two played with each other?” Lacy flat out and asks Alana. She was surprised at what she had asked her. She didn’t know how to respond.

“Lacy! That’s gross!” Madison says feeling grossed out. “Did you really have to say that like that?!”

“I told you I wanted to know the details. I can’t have it, might as well hear who’s having it.” Lacy replied to Madison.

“I am not telling you that!” Alana’s face was really red. Lacy looked at Katie.

“Did you do it with Craig yet?” Lacy asked Katie with a straight face. Katie’s face gotten red.

“N-NO! Why are you asking me that?!” Katie covered her face with her hands.

“Just sitting here thinking about it, man I was a slut when I was younger.” Lacy randomly says. All the three girls stared at her confused.

“You mean because you couldn’t decide between Robert and Ronnie?” Alana asked.

“Yeah, and there’s Craig too.” Lacy admits.

“Craig?! What about him?!” Katie asked feeling jealous.

“There was a point I had a small crush on him. Tried dating him, couldn’t stop thinking about Robert and Ronnie. I just said I was a slut.” Lacy says to Katie.

“She says that with no shame?” Madison thinks to herself.

“Don’t worry, Katie. Craig was a slut himself. Or pimp, whatever the hell you call a guy that sleeps around. But I never slept with him. I can guarantee you that.” Lacy laughed a little. “Only thing we did was kiss before…”

“I don’t like hearing about that!” Katie felt jealous hearing what Lacy said.

“Well, I used to be a slut. I mean I haven’t been one since I began a real relationship with Robert and got my act together.” Lacy picked up her drink that was next to her book on her end table and took a sip of it. Katie helps Lacy sit the drink back onto the end table. “Katie, you and Craig look good together.”

“W-We do?” Katie asks shyly. 

“Yes, and I am happy he found someone like you. And… I am happy you found someone like him. You really are a nice person.” Lacy replies to Katie.

“It’s so weird, because you used to act like you didn’t like us before.” Madison giggles a little. “We all gotten close, haven’t we?”

“Yes, but over time, Ronnie parted from Robert and me. We no longer was hanging with him much but… We seem to be doing better now.” Lacy says to Madison.

Max was hanging out with Craig, Bryan, and Robert. They all were playing video games over Bryan’s home. Bryan’s dad was at work and same with his girlfriend. Ronnie wasn’t even home. He was over Stephanie’s.

“You know, you lost. You need to hand over the controller.” Bryan glared at Max. Max wasn’t handing over the control when he lost on the fighting game that he was playing. He was fighting against Robert. Craig was watching them.

“Yeah, because I never had a chance yet either.” Craig laughed a little. He thought it was kind of funny that Max was keeping the controller all to himself.
