“That doesn’t tell who your soulmate is!” Robert said to Craig.
“It describes that your soulmate is someone very close to you.” Craig says to Robert.
“Close to me? That is fake.”
“Believe what you want.” Craig laughed. “Hey, let’s watch TV together. Want to spend the night?” Craig asked with a smile.
“You sure are friendly…” Robert mumbles.
“Max can’t really spend the night with me. His parents grounded him. He got in trouble for staying out so late and his parents are still trying to work hard getting custody of him.”
“I guess I can spend the night.” Robert wasn’t for sure but he didn’t want to stay home and see Ronnie with Lacy.
“Good.” Craig still had a smile upon his face. “We can do lots of cool things!”
“He really is weird…” Robert thought to himself.
Lacy was staring at Ronnie as he was looking back at her. Their faces were so close. Ronnie was laying on Lacy. She wasn’t sure what to think or say. Her heart was beating fast.
“Lacy… I really do love you.” Ronnie said. Lacy blushes red.
“I love Ronnie too… but did I make the right decision? Robert was so upset… I know I hurt him…” Lacy thought to herself. “But I am hurting them both more if I try to have them both.”
“Lacy, you’re really are adorable. You know Robert never believed in true love anyways.”
“I know…” Lacy wasn’t sure what to say about it. “But he…” Lacy turns her head.
“Lacy, don’t start thinking of Robert.” Ronnie touches her face and makes her stare back at him. “I can treat you better than he ever could. You know I really hated sharing you with him.”
“I… I know…” Lacy heard him finally told the truth about the matter.
“I hated it so much. I didn’t want to give up on you. I had hoped you will finally give him up and just be with me.”
“Y-You did?” Lacy asked. Ronnie chuckles a little.
“We were together just fine before wasn’t we?”
“Y-Yes.” Lacy wasn’t for sure actually but didn’t want to make Ronnie angry with her.
“See? We will be better off together. Robert will probably find someone else anyways. Don’t worry about him anymore.”
“I don’t know… Worrying about Robert. I can’t stop thinking of him. Did I make the right choice? I had to make a choice. I had to. This is right… right?” Lacy thought to herself as Ronnie kissed her.
Three days have gone by. Alana was walking with Lacy. They went to the store together. “You just decided to choose Ronnie?” Alana asks.
“Yeah. I did. But I don’t know if I made the right choice.”
“You feel guilty of your choice? Second thoughts?” Alana asks. Lacy nods. “Then maybe you like Robert more? You never did gave him a fair chance. Did you?”
“I never did. I never did just dated him separately from Ronnie. But I feel like it’s too late now. I decided on Ronnie because… because of that baby.” Lacy admits.
“Oh. But how do you know the baby wasn’t even Robert’s?” Alana asked.
“I was guessing it was Ronnie’s baby because… well… because of the fact that the baby was… I think I was pregnant around the time I was first with Ronnie. I don’t know… I thought that’s how it happened anyways.”
“You honestly don’t know but just taking a lucky guess? Can’t know now.”
“Yeah.” Lacy looks down. “I feel stupid about that… I didn’t want a baby but at the same time I feel guilty that the baby…”
“Don’t think about it! That will just make you more upset! Try to think good thoughts!” Alana said with a smile to Lacy. She didn’t want Lacy to get upset anymore. “Has Ronnie taken you out on dates yet?” Alana asks.
“No. All he keeps trying to ask from me is…” Lacy blushed a little.
“What?! Does he even really love you?!” Alana was surprised to hear that and wasn’t sure what to think of Ronnie.
“He… He says he does. And… I honestly… Never let him have what he wanted for the past three days. He’s been acting fine about it but I know he’s angry.”
“Lacy, I don’t know about Ronnie. He should spend time with you doing other things than just that. That doesn’t sound right. When you were with him before did he go on dates?”
“Yes. He did.” Lacy nods.
“That’s good. I don’t know what’s Ronnie’s deal though…” Alana pointed at a shop. “Let’s go in there. Okay?”
“Alright.” Lacy and Alana go into the small shop that Alana wanted to go into.
Robert had gone out in town. He was upset about Ronnie and Lacy still. He tried to play it off as he wasn’t, but it was tearing him up. He sat down on a bench. “Lacy wanted Ronnie. There is nothing more than I can say or do to change that…” Robert thought to himself. A person sat down next to Robert.
“Hello again.” A familiar voice said. Robert stared at her. The person was Stephanie. The girl that simply vanished before.
“What the?!” Robert was surprised to see her.
“So, did Lacy decided to go with Ronnie instead?” Stephanie asks with a smile.
“It’s not funny. What are you doing here anyways?” Robert asks.
“I thought maybe you missed me.” Stephanie laughed a little. “I feel like honestly I haven’t been good with fortune telling.”
“What do you mean?” Robert asked.
“I usually am good at predicting things, but not anymore. I guess I grew out of my powers.”
“You mean you couldn’t predict me?” Robert asks her.
“That’s true. I honestly thought you were going to end up with Lacy after she gets over this little thing with Ronnie.”
“What are you saying?” Robert was confused with Stephanie. “Who are you exactly?”
“I am a person just like you.” Stephanie responds and stood up. “I moved to a different part of town and started going to a different school. And I didn’t expect to see you again. See? Shows my powers aren’t good anymore.” Stephanie ran off. Robert wasn’t sure what to think of Stephanie.
“She is weird.” Robert thought to himself. “Lacy is… Why did she have to do that… Ronnie must’ve told Alana something and told Lacy. Why does Lacy keep worrying about that…”
Ronnie sees Robert when he came home. “You can’t try to flirt with Lacy anymore.” Ronnie tells Robert.
“I think I know. But why? Why did Lacy decided to do this when I thought we were going to be okay with her with us both?”
“I am not happy about sharing her with you. I never was and you told me you wasn’t either. I told the truth to Alana. That I wasn’t happy about it. I am guessing Alana was asking because Lacy asked her too. Lacy probably had that thought going through her mind. It’s best if she chooses one of us. Right?” Ronnie smiles devilishly.
“Yeah, but…” Robert looks down. He wasn’t sure what to think. He really liked Lacy. But she had chose Ronnie and not him. He had to accept her choice. What she wanted to do. “I got to go.” Robert ran off. Ronnie still held the devilish smile upon his face.
“I am happy that Lacy finally came to her senses. I can have what I want now.” Ronnie said and Brice came into the hallway.
“Did Robert go out again?” Brice asked.
“Yeah. Seems like he’s upset.” Ronnie laughs.
“What is so funny about that?” Brice asks. He was confused on what was going on.
“He’s just a sore loser since Lacy decided to date me.” Ronnie said and walks off.
“What?” Brice wasn’t sure what Ronnie meant. “Date him? Did Lacy decided to date him?”
Alana and Lacy finished shopping. “Do you think I can spend the night?” Lacy asks Alana. She smiled.
“Of course! My dad wouldn’t mind.” Alana responds. They made it to Alana’s home. They were surprised to see Robert standing outside.
“Robert?” Lacy couldn’t believe she saw him. She didn’t know why he was standing there or how he knew where Alana lived.
“What brings you here?” Alana asks Robert.
“I need to talk to you.” He said to Alana. She wasn’t sure why he wanted to speak with her.
“Why?” Alana asks curiously.
“I just need to!” He said. He had a serious look on his face.
“Umm… Lacy, you can go inside in my bedroom! Okay?” Alana says to Lacy. She nods and went into the house without saying a word to Robert. “What did you want me for?” Alana asks Robert.
“I need help. I should ask your father but…”
“What is it?” Alana asks. Lacy went into Alana’s bedroom and sat her bag down with the stuff she bought in it.
“Robert is here. I wonder why he’s here. I don’t… No! it’s none of my concern!” Lacy blushes and then sits down on the bed. “I can’t think of Robert! I am with Ronnie now… That’s right. I chose Ronnie. No more second thoughts. No more. I have to have my thoughts centered on Ronnie.”
Alana was staring at Robert surprised. “Why? Why do you want to do that? Can you do that? Aren’t you too young?” Alana was confused with Robert.
“No one knows if Lacy was actually pregnant by Ronnie! I wanted to see if I really was…wasn’t able to have kids but… I am too young to know that aren’t I?” Robert asks.
“It is a weird question. Why don’t you talk to your dad about it? He probably will know more than I do.” Alana answered.
“Alana, does… Does Lacy seem happy about her decision?”
“I… I don’t know. She seems like she is confused. I know she told me multiple times before that she loves you both.”
“I know, she said it to the both of us. Ronnie and me. Why did she decided to choose all of a sudden?”
“I am not sure. I guess the thought kept bothering her? She did tell me that she felt like she was hurting the both of you.”
“I… I guess I should just let her be. But…” Robert starts walking away. “I still love her.” Alana was confused with Robert as he left.
