The front door opened. “Dad sounds like he’s home.” Robert got up from the sofa and peaked his head out the doorway. There was a woman coming into the house with groceries besides Brice. “Who’s the woman?” Robert asked his dad.
“Explain later. Get the groceries.” Brice tells Robert.
“I have to get the stuff.” Robert tells Lacy and left the living room. Ronnie left the living room to help bring groceries in as well. Lacy sat on the sofa and was just waiting for them to come back.
The groceries were all brought in and Brice was putting them away. Robert and Ronnie were in the kitchen with him along with the woman. “Who is the woman?” Robert asked his dad again.
“Robert, can’t you wait until I put the groceries away?”
“Hey, you dad’s new girlfriend?” Ronnie asks the woman.
“I think it’s better to wait until your dad speaks to you. Should I go?” The lady asked Brice.
“No. Stay.” Brice tells her. After the groceries were put away Brice sat down in a chair.
“Should Bryan be in here?” Ronnie asked.
“Get him.” Brice tells Ronnie. Ronnie left the kitchen to bring Bryan downstairs. Ronnie had an idea what could possibly be going on but he wasn’t exactly for sure. Ronnie had brought Bryan downstairs and into the kitchen.
“What’s going on? Who’s she?” Bryan asked.
“Well, that’s what I was going to talk about.” Brice said. He wasn’t sure how he was going to tell them but he felt like he needed to tell them all. “This woman is ‘Amy Crute’. She is the woman…” Brice sighs. “She’s the woman I had an affair with.”
“Huh?” Bryan was confused.
“Well dad, this is your new girlfriend and this is the woman that you cheated on mom with when mom kept cheating on you?” Ronnie asked. Brice nods.
“Yeah.” Brice admits. “Your all guy’s mother and I are divorced. I am free to date whoever. I wanted to tell you all that I actually began dating her but… I wasn’t sure how to tell everyone and just pretended not to be with her.”
“How long have you two been together?” Ronnie asked.
“A little after I broke up with Abbilynn when my divorce was finalized.” Brice admits.
“I hope you boys don’t mind that your father has been dating me.” Amy said. Bryan wasn’t sure how he felt.
“Mommy was mean. She was really mean, but I don’t know about this. Daddy with another woman? I didn’t feel so odd when it was Abbilynn because she was nice, but I don’t know her. I don’t know what am I supposed to do or say?” Bryan thought to himself.
“Is it alright for us to date?” Brice asked his sons.
“Go ahead. I don’t care. Can Lacy spend the night?” Robert asked.
“Uh… sure.” Brice responds.
“I don’t mind if you date her. Thanks for letting Lacy spend the night tonight. I’ll go tell her.” Ronnie ran off. Robert followed after him. Brice stared at his youngest son.
“Are you alright with me dating?” Brice asked.
“I… I am not sure.” Bryan admits. “I don’t know her.”
“It’s fine. We can take time to know each other.” Amy tells Bryan. He sure what’s sure how he felt. He went to the door.
“Are you alright?” Brice asked his son.
“Madison is in my bedroom. I am going to hang with her.” Bryan said and left. He seemed to be upset.
“Do you think he’s upset with us for dating?” Amy asked.
“I don’t know. He probably will grow to like you. He’s probably just used to me not with anyone since I was divorcing his mother. But… I was with Abbilynn and he didn’t seem to mind much.”
“Do you think he doesn’t like me?” Amy asked.
“I don’t think that’s it. It’s just he knew Abbilynn before I dated her. That’s why I think he felt alright with her, but Abbilynn and I broke up due to her daughter liking my uh… well… sons.”
“What? She likes your sons?” Amy asked surprised.
“Just the older two. Not Bryan. It’s weird. Anyways do you want something to drink?”
“Sure.”
Bryan went upstairs and into his bedroom. “What was all the commotion?” Madison asked.
“It’s my dad. He’s got a girlfriend. A woman named ‘Amy’.”
“Are you upset about it? Do you really want your parents back together?” Madison asked. She knew that Bryan’s parents we’re getting a divorce.
“It seems that they aren’t married anymore. I don’t mind because I never was close to my mom. But… I just feel weird because I don’t know this lady. I knew Abbilynn when daddy was dating her so I was fine. But… I don’t know.”
“I am sure Amy is an okay woman. Your dad made a mistake being with your mom because she wasn’t a good person, but if he never did you wouldn’t be here. And that would make me sad if you wasn’t here.” Madison said to Bryan. He blushes at her. “Don’t be angry with your father. If he’s happy then that’s all that matters. I am sure you will grow to like Amy. She might be a nice lady.” Madison was just trying to make Bryan feel better.
“I am not mad at daddy for wanting to have a girlfriend. I am not! It’s just I feel a little weird because I don’t know her. You know?” Bryan tells Madison.
“It’s alright. What you’re feeling is normal. Don’t worry about it. I am sure things will be alright and maybe perhaps you will actually grow to like Amy.” Madison was trying to find the best words to make Bryan feel better.
Robert and Ronnie had told Lacy about their father dating. She was a little surprised. “Well, I guess you might end up having a step mom in the future. Maybe.” Lacy tells them.
“I don’t really care if I do or don’t.” Robert responds. He honestly didn’t care.
“Dad said you can spend the night.” Ronnie tells Lacy.
“He did?”
“Yes.” Ronnie replies to her. “Want to go hang out in the bedroom?”
“Sure I guess.” The three went into the bedroom upstairs.
Brice had given Amy a cup of soda. “Was you with another lady before me?” Amy asked.
“It’s kind of complicated.” Brice opened up a can of soda as he was sitting by Amu. “I was married to Peggy. Our marriage was terrible. All we did was argue. We never seemed to get along. She kept cheating on me. At first I didn’t know about her cheating, but then I found out the truth later. I felt heartbroken. I thought she loved me. But it was all a lie. I got upset and cheated on her with you and I felt bad. I actually had a crush on you and I didn’t know what to do. My wife and I continued to argue and then it was decided that we were going to get a divorce. During the divorce, I began a relationship with Abbilynn. I liked her and knew her since I was a younger but I just didn’t feel right. In the back of my mind, I began to think of you. Abbilynn realized her daughter’s feelings and we ended up breaking up. Then that’s how I began dating you.”
“How did you know Peggy?’ Amy asked.
“Well, she was one of the most popular girls in school. I had a crush on her like a lot of guys did. I ended up with her and while we were in still in school we had Robert together. She was so furious he was a boy, but I managed to get her to stay with me and not too long later Ronnie came. She was angry he wasn’t a female too. I guess she started cheating on me because I wouldn’t give her a female baby? I don’t know.”
“Why would she be obsessed with wanting a daughter?” Amy asked. “She should be happy with having a child. Some women can’t have children.”
“That’s true. But she wasn’t happy. She was mean to my sons. And then when Bryan was born she was really angry. She was angry he wasn’t a female either.”
“That’s crazy. All your sons seem to be alright. I don’t understand how she can hate her own children all because they aren’t a female. They all look a lot like you. Is that what got her angry?” Amy asked curiously.
“It is possible. I don’t know. She really is a bitch. I feel like now I hate her guts.” Brice says and took a sip of his soda.
“Now Brice. I want to have a real relationship. Do you want a real relationship with me?” Amy asked.
“I would like to.” Brice replies to her. Amy blushed.
Lacy was sitting on the bed in the bedroom. Ronnie was laying down with his head on her lap. “What is there to do now that I am here?” Lacy asks.
“Well, I thought you wanted to talk?” Robert reminds Lacy.
“Oh, yeah… But what is there to talk about?” Lacy asked Robert.
“I don’t know. I thought maybe you wanted to talk about something.” Robert answers. Robert looked at Lacy. “If you don’t want to talk… we can always just fool around.” Robert touched Lacy’s face.
“N-No!” Lacy glares at Robert. Her face was red though. “I already said I don’t want to feel like I am being used for that all the time!”
“But you really know deep inside it’s what you want.” Ronnie laughed and sat up. He no longer was laying his head on her lap anymore.
“I…” Lacy looks down for a few seconds. Robert and Ronnie were staring at her. She tilted her head up. “I really do. I really want to be with the both of you. I want to do insane things with you both. I want to be together. I want to ignore all those people that think I am a slut or a horrible woman.” Lacy admits.
“You really are a naughty girl?” Ronnie asked Lacy. Lacy didn’t answer.
“We won’t be mad at you, are you a bad girl?” Robert asks. They both were staring at her and touched each other her shoulders. Lacy’s expression changed. Her face began to smile devilishly.
“Yes, Robert. Ronnie. I love you both. I can’t stop.” Lacy stood up. She stared at the both of them. “I am a bad girl. Ever since I met you two. I was a good girl that turned bad.”
“You’re our girl.” Robert says with also a devilish smile.
