Lionel decided to pay Max a visit. He got the address from Alana and wanted to speak to him. He wanted to see for sure or not if it was all true. If it was true about what Alana was told. He felt confused about it because he felt like Max always liked Alana. It was all weird to him. Just didn’t seem to add up. Lionel rung the door bell and Max answered the door.
“Hi? What brings you here?” Max asked Lionel.
“I need to ask you something.”
“What is it?”
“You cheated on my little sister? You really played with her friend Lacy? Is that all true? Do you hate her?” Lionel asks Max.
“W-What?! I love Alana! I never played with Lacy! Who told you that?! Who said that shit?!” Max felt mad. He was in love with Alana. He felt nothing for Lacy.
“Alana told me it. She said a girl told her that.”
“It wasn’t Lacy was it?! Lacy didn’t tell her that did she?!”
“No! Alana told me the girl was named ‘Peg’.” Lionel answered honestly. He could tell that Max seemed mad.
“Damn her! I love Alana! I would never cheat on her! I don’t like Lacy like that!” Max felt furious with Peg. “I feel like punching that bitch for even lying about me!”
“Alana is really upset. I felt like I was going to come over here to punch you if that was true. But I can tell that it’s not. Alana is crying at home.” Lionel tells Max.
“Poor Alana. I got to go see her! I need to! But my brother Louie… I can’t leave him alone.” Max looks down.
“I can go bring Alana here so that you can talk about it, if you want?” Lionel suggested.
“Would you please? I need to talk to her.” Max didn’t want Alana to be upset. He wanted her to know that he didn’t do all those awful things.
Alana was sitting at home. “I feel like I am so stupid… I wonder if Max answered Lionel? Did he really do that awful things? Lacy was my friend, why would she…? I thought she couldn’t tell if she likes between Robert and Ronnie?” Alana decided to dial the number to Lacy’s home. James answered it. Madison had left.
“Hello, Leamer residence.” James said as he answered the phone.
“Is Lacy there?” Alana asks.
“No, she’s been staying over Robert’s and Ronnie’s home for right now. You see, Peg has to stay here for a few nights and Lacy does not get along with her. Lacy decided to spend a few nights over Robert’s and Ronnie’s place to avoid Peg.” James answers truthfully.
“Oh? She did?” Alana asks surprised. “She never brought Max over?”
“Max?” James felt puzzled. “Are you one of Lacy’s friends?” James asks.
“Yes, I am. I was told by Peg something and it hurt me.” Alana said feeling like she was about to cry again.
“You too? I caught Madison outside earlier crying because of something that Peg said to her. It was all found out to be a lie.”
“It was? You think that Peg lied to me too?” Alana asks.
“I am positive that she did. I don’t understand what is her deal honestly.” James wasn’t sure why Peg would do such a thing. He used to think that she was a kind girl, but over time he started to think otherwise. He knew his friend Nikki liked Peg a lot but James was kind of seeing how Peg treats a lot of people and he didn’t like it.
Eventually, everything was all fixed. Peg’s lies were found out and she had nothing to say about why she lied like that. Alana was happily with Max again. Madison was happy with Bryan. Katie was happy with Craig. It was now night. At the Luxton family household, everyone was asleep. The only two that were awake was Lacy and Robert. Lacy had sneaked out of the house and went outside on the porch. Robert had followed her.
“Can’t sleep?” He asked her.
“I don’t know.” Robert sat down by Lacy. “Sometimes I am happy being with the both of you and sometimes I feel like it’s not right.”
“Not this again. Lacy, I want to ask you something.”
“What is it?” Lacy looked at Robert.
“You know some time back, when you were missing Ronnie and ended up being with us both again. I know you got upset missing him, but… you tried to tell him something like you said his name too during you know… Why did you tell him that?” Robert was curious about something that happened in the past.
“What do you mean?” Lacy asks. She started to forget ever saying that. She then looks down. Remembering it. “I didn’t want him to get upset. I missed him, I did but I felt so bad for what I did to him before so I just said that. I shouldn’t of lied but I only told him I said his name during that… with just the two of us so he wouldn’t get his feelings hurt. Why did you agree to lie with me?” Lacy asked Robert.
“I figured that was what you wanted to do, I don’t know. Do you really love us both the same?”
“Of course I do!” Lacy stood up. She was glaring at Robert. “Are you trying to say that I don’t?!”
“Calm down.” Robert stood up. “I didn’t say anything like that. So stop acting retarded. We should go to sleep. It’s late.” Robert didn’t feel like he was in the mood to argue with her.
“It is late. Alright, goodnight.” Lacy went into the house and Robert followed after her. “Why are you following me?” She looked back at him.
“This is my home. You are going to sleep in my bedroom. I have to go in there too.” Robert responds. Lacy got quiet and just went to Robert’s bedroom. When they both got there, they laid down and was going to sleep.
“Why did he have to ask me something like that?” Lacy wondered and drifted off to sleep. Lacy began to have a dream. She was staring at herself in a mirror.
“Why do I keep denying it? Why do I deny my true feelings? I love him. I love him the most and I know I do.” Lacy said to herself in the dream. “I don’t want to hurt his brother though… I love them both, but… I love one more than the other. I just don’t want to hurt him.”
Lacy opened her eyes. It was early in the morning now. “W-Why did I dream that?!” Lacy thought to herself. “What did that mean? I can’t tell either of them.” Lacy stared at both of them who was sleeping close to her. They were still asleep.
The next few days had gone by and Lacy repeatedly had the same dream over and over. It was practically the same. Seeing herself in the dream speaking about loving one more than the other. One of the brothers. It made her feel uncomfortable dreaming it.
It was now the day that Peg was finally going home and now Lacy could go home. Robert was helping Lacy get her things together. “I am so glad that Peg is finally going home. God, I hate her.” Lacy said to Robert. Ronnie was taking a shower. It was still early in the morning.
“Are you going to miss sleeping in bed with us?” Robert asked. She blushes a little.
“Maybe I will.” Lacy responded. She zipped up her bag. “Are you two going to spend time with me at my home too?”
“You want us to come over?” Robert asked.
“I am not inviting you both. I think I need a break. I want to go home and relax.”
“You need a break? From what? Us?” Robert asked.
“I have a headache. I been having these weird dreams again and now I am beginning to hate them. They’re more worse than the others.”
“Weird dream? What have you been dreaming about?” Robert asked. Lacy left the bedroom holding her bag. He followed her.
“I rather not say. They don’t mean anything.” Lacy replied.
“Are you going to say ‘bye’ to Ronnie?” Robert asks. They both make it to the front door.
“I don’t feel like it. You can tell him I left.” Lacy answered and looked at Robert.
“Are you feeling alright?” Robert asks. Lacy stared at him. He was getting older. It was just getting close to a year and she could tell he grew since then. She has as well. She touches his face. He blushes a little as he stared at her.
“Robert, I love you.” Lacy brought his face close to hers and kisses him. Robert was a little surprised by the kiss. She kept kissing him. The kiss was full of passion, in fact, it was a little different to Robert. He was a little confused by the kiss but liked it. Lacy parts lips with Robert before he kisses her back. “I got to go.” Lacy said and went out the door.
“Lacy…” Robert’s face turn more red. He liked the kiss that Lacy gave him before she left. He was a little confused by it but he kept thinking about it. He went to his bedroom and sat on the bed. All through his mind he kept thinking about Lacy and the kiss she gave him. It felt different. It was different than the way she usually kissed him. He liked it though. A lot.
“For two nights… I been having a weird dream… A dream of being in love with one of them. Myself even telling me that in the dream.” Lacy thought to herself as she was walking home. “Could it be true? Do I really love one more than the other?” Lacy was having weird dreams lately. It happened twice at night and she couldn’t understand them. She didn’t hate the dreams, but the dreams were of her. Finding out which brother she liked the most.
“it was just a dream.” Lacy tired to tell herself. The rest of the day, Lacy didn’t even speak to Robert or Ronnie. She was sitting at dinner with her family. Her mother, father, and her brother. Lacy barely was eating any of her food.
“Is something wrong?” Abbilynn asked her daughter.
“No.” Lacy responds quietly.
“Ronnie called for you earlier and you didn’t even talk to him. Did something happen when you were over there?” Abbilynn asks. Lacy shook her head.
“Nothing happened.” Lacy didn’t finish all her food. She stood up. “I am done.” She left the kitchen and went to her bedroom. She sat down on her bed. “It is true, nothing did happen. We mostly just played video games. I feel like a jerk. Robert didn’t even have his own date with me. I only let Ronnie have one.” Lacy laid down on her bed. “I feel like I am a pathetic woman.” Lacy felt a little tired. She ended up passing out. She drifted off to sleep.
Lacy was sitting in the dark. “I love Ronnie. I love Robert. But I know… I know that’s not what I truly feel inside. I am in love with one more than the other. I love them both so much still though. Even though I still care for the other one, there’s a part of me. I know that I love one of them slightly more. I deny this though. I don’t want to hurt them. I don’t want to hurt him.” Lacy was staring at a mirror. “Back when I was dating Ronnie. When it was just him… I thought about Robert. I couldn’t stop. The second time I tried to be with just Ronnie, I couldn’t stop thinking about Robert. Even during the sex, I was thinking of Robert.” Lacy looks down.
“I feel guilty. When I was with just Robert, I thought about Ronnie too. But… I was more concerned about him being… Him being… upset about the relationship. I was more concerned about his feelings. I didn’t want to hurt him. I even made up about thinking of him during sex, but… Robert and I… I never really thought of Ronnie during sex with Robert.”
Lacy opened her eyes and sat up on her bed. “Another weird dream?” She rubbed her eyes. She noticed it was dark outside and looked at her clock. It was 11:35 PM. “It’s late.” Lacy just sat there on her bed. “I feel so bad for dreaming that…” Lacy puts her knees close to her and felt like crying.
