Those Three Chapter 11
Craig and Max where hanging together. Max was over Craig's home. Craig had a day off work again but wasn't spending it with Katie.
"Don't you find it odd that you have a day off and Katie isn't spending it with you? Weird they didn't make you work today actually if you ask me." Max said. The two of them were playing a video game together.
"Katie told me she was hanging with Madison today because Madison was upset about something." Craig answered. The doorbell rung. "I have to get that." Craig paused the game and got up off the floor in his bedroom and went to answer the front door.
"Alana has been acting weird lately too, she's been avoiding me a little it seems like? Nah she's just being shy again." Max thought to himself and chuckled a little.
When Craig answered the door he was surprised to see Bryan. He seemed upset. "Uh... Bryan?"
"Hey. Can I come in?" Bryan asks. Craig nods and lets him in. When Bryan came into the home, Craig shuts the door.
"What brings you here? You wanted to hang out with Max and me? We both are playing a game." Craig smiles. Bryan just still seem to look upset.
"Yeah sure." Bryan replies. The two of them go into Craig's bedroom. Max stared at Bryan.
"Hey Bryan, what's up? Having trouble with Madison again?" Max asks. Bryan just looked down and didn't say anything. "Bryan?"
"He might be a little down about something, uh... how about we all just try to play a game?" Craig suggested.
Katie got Madison to go with her to go shopping. At first, Madison didn't really want to go but Katie kept insisting. She wanted to get her mind off of Craig and help Madison get her mind off of Bryan. Madison was upset about breaking up with Bryan. Katie felt bad for the breakup and felt bad that it turned out that way and wanted to help her friend feel better. But at the same time, Katie kept having a lot of thoughts about Craig. She wanted to stop those thoughts for the moment to help Madison out.
"I hope when I go back to cheerleading practice it will help me forget about Bryan. I need to forget him." Madison said as she was staring at some thing in the store. She was staring at some teddy bears.
"When do you have cheerleading practice?" Katie asks. Madison didn't answer her. She was staring at the teddy bears still that was on the shelf in the store.
"Bryan used to like teddy bears before when I first..." Madison thought to herself.
"Madison?"
"Eh? Sorry!" Madison apolgized once she snapped out of her thoughts. The brown headed and blonde walked away from the teddy bears and was browsing something else in the store.
At Craig's home, Bryan wasn't even playing a game. He was just sitting there looking down. Craig and Max were playing the game.
"Do you want a turn?" Max asked Bryan. Craig sits his controller down and looked at Bryan. He noticed that he looked still upset.
"Bryan, why do you seem like you're down in the dumps? You're really raining on our parade here?" Craig asks. Max stared at Craig. Bryan looked at Craig.
"Shut up, bitch." Bryan coldly says to Craig.
"What?! You little asshole!" Craig stood up. He was angry with Bryan. Angry for what he said and called him. Max got up and held Craig back.
"Hey! Don't fight with him! It's not worth it!" Max tells Craig trying to get him not to fight with Bryan.
"Why did he come over here anyways?! All he's doing is being gloomy and then saying mean things to me!"
"Bryan, why did you come here?" Max asked. Bryan stood up. He wasn't staring at the both of them. With one deep breath he started to walk away and out the door. Max let's Craig go and they both heard the front door being slammed shut.
"I don't understand why he came here and wanted to be an asshole?!" Craig was still ticked off with Bryan.
"Bryan might be upset about something, I wouldn't think about what he said." Max tells his friend.
Soon school came and Madison felt weird in school. She had almost every class with Bryan and it was just not possible to avoid him. She did her best trying to not say a word to him and now at lunch, Madison wasn't sure who to sit by and she just quickly sat down next to James, Lacy's younger brother.
"Very surprising to see you sitting here." James said surprised that Madison sat down by him.
"I am trying to avoid you know who."
"Oh? Having an argument again?"
"No, we broke up." Madison responds and starts eating her food.
"Really?" James was surprised at what he heard from Madison, he didn't think that Madison and Bryan would actually break up with each other. "Are you serious?"
"I am. I dumped him." Madison responds. Madison noticed that Bryan didn't even come to lunch, which suprised her because she was sure he would come and possibly try to talk to her. But he didn't even come. Bryan was in the bathroom.
"Madison has been avoiding me all day. I can't blame her. I been a real jerk to her during our relationship." Bryan thought to himself. "She probably doesn't want to talk to me anymore."
During the rest of the classes of the school day, Madison didn't see Bryan at all. It felt odd to her that she didn't seem him. Apart of her was relieved that she didn't have to face him at the moment, but at the same time she felt like she was worried about him. She was wondering why he didn't show up from the remanining classes.
Bryan was actually in the nurse's office the rest of the school day. He just stayed in there until it was time to leave when school out.
After school, Madison decided to hang out together with Alana. Katie was having problems where she kept thinking about Craig still and decided to just go home. The two of them gone to a fast food resturaunt together.
"Did you tell Max about the baby yet?" Madison asks her blonde hair friend. Alana blushes a little and shook her head.
"I haven't found the way to tell him yet." Alana admits and looked down. She felt bad for not telling Max about the baby that she was having. She was nervous to tell him.
"He deserves to know."
"I know..." Alana looked at Madison. "You and Bryan broke up?"
"Yeah..." Madison admits. She tried not to frown about it. "The two of us just didn't work out. I like Bryan a whole lot but we just don't match together."
"That's too bad. I thought the two of you were a cute couple."
"The two of us had nothing in common and just fought most of the time anyways." Madison looks down at her drink.
"We fought a lot but not all the time." Madison thought to herself.
"Do you miss him?" Alana asks.
"No I don't." Madison lies. She felt like she was about to cry if she continued to talk about Bryan. "Y-You should tell Max about the baby." Madison says in a cracked voice. Alana could tell that Madison was getting upset. She decided not to talk about Bryan to Madison right now.
"I...I will." Alana responds. "I just need to get courage first."
"Get the courage!" Madison tried to encourage Alana. She just smiles at her younger friend.
"It's easier said than done."
"I know. But you need courage to tell Max about the baby!"
Alana stared at Madison who was trying to fake a smile. "And you should get the courage to speak to Bryan again and fix things with him." Alana thought to herself.
Bryan was home and was just laying in bed. "Madison... I miss you." Bryan thought to himself. He wasn't crying but he did felt depressed. He felt bad for the fights that he had with Madison. He wanted to make it up to her but that couldn't happen now. The two of them had broken up.
There was a knock at the door. Bryan sat up and wondered who could be knocking on his bedroom door. "Who is it?" He asked. The door opened. It was Michael. Michael was Bryan's cousin/half brother. It was a complicated story. There was questions about if Michael's father Mason really purposely had Michael with Peggy or not. Peggy was the mother of Robert, Ronnie, and Bryan. She was the ex-wife of Brice. Apparently during her marriage, Peggy had an affair and had Michael who was close in age to Bryan.
Brice was still wondering if Mason lied about Peggy forcing herself on him or if it was true. But didn't spoke about it since he was no longer with Peggy. Michael in the past two years had gotten taller. He was basically the same height as Bryan. The two still looked much alike, just Michael had brown hair. Both had their hair shorter than before when they were younger.
"What are you doing here?" Bryan glared at Michael.
"I am spending the night."
"Why?"
"Because I can. Do I need to have a reason?" Michael asks. "Why aren't you hanging with Madison?" Bryan looks down. "What?"
"Madison and I aren't dating anymore. I probably won't be hanging with her anymore." Bryan answered honestly.
"What did you do to her?!" Michael charged at Bryan and grabs his shirt pulling him up off the bed.
"We broke up because me. Go ahead. Hit me." Bryan said just sounding miserable. Michael puts him down.
"Ugh! I can't believe that! But... If you two broke up... Then that means I have a chance with her." Michael smiles devilishly and left the bedroom.
"He probably would be a better boyfrien than I ever could be." Bryan mumbles to himself. Thinking about Madison possibly dating Michael made him felt more worse than he already felt. "Did Ronnie felt this hurt when Lacy chose Robert?"
