Those Three Chapter 18

“Look, Tj. I feel like I barely know you. I can’t date you. Besides… I really… I really like Bryan. I like him a lot.” Madison was looking down. “And you’re too old for me. And if I remember correctly from Craig, he said that his sister is obsessed with you.”

“Like I already mentioned, I don’t want her.” Tj responds. Tj puts his arm around Madison. “But you’re really pretty. Like you matured to me.”

“Tj, I tried. I gave a chance to talk to you when you asked when I got out of the bathroom, but… I can’t date you. I don’t think I am ready to date again right now after I just broke up with Bryan. Besides… I…” Madison looked like she was about to cry.

“I get it, you have feelings still for Bryan.” Tj says and takes his arm away from her. Madison stood up.

“Bryan really is special to me. I still care for him a lot even though I haven’t heard from him in a bit.”

Alana stared at the both of them. “Tj likes her? But he barely knows her! Heck, she doesn’t really talk to him!” Alana was confused at the two of them talking to each other.

“I get that Bryan is important to you. But Madison… If you ever decide that it’s really over between the two of you… I am available. “ Tj says. Madison didn’t respond and started walking out of the family room. Alana wanted to quickly run away as she didn’t want to be caught for eavesdropping. Madison went into the hallway and heard a door close.

“Someone heard us?” Madison wondered.

Robert woke up to the sound of his cell phone going off. He didn’t recognize the phone number on the phone but answered it anyways.

“Who is this?” Robert asked sleepily. He just wanted to get back to sleep as it was late.

“It’s me.” Robert recognize the voice. It was Ronnie’s.

“What do you want?” Robert asks.

“I want to talk to you.” Ronnie tells him. “But not now. In the morning some time later.” Ronnie hung the phone up. Robert was confused on what Ronnie wanted but decided maybe he should go.

The next day had come; Robert had gone to his dad’s home to visit. Brice was making something to eat. Robert had gone upstairs and into his former bedroom with Ronnie.

“You called me yesterday to talk about something but wouldn’t tell me on the phone. What was it?” Robert asked Ronnie. “It’s really unusual that you would want to talk to me, you haven’t want to talk to me ever since Lacy and I began a real relationship. Are you still hook on that?”

“No. I had a talk. With Bryan and it made me think about a few things. And this feelings I had for Lacy. The big fight that had been going on isn’t worth it.” Ronnie says.

“So you’re giving Lacy up now?” Robert asks. “Because her and I have no plans of splitting up.”

“I know. Look, tell Lacy not to worry. I don’t want to get in between you two. I think… I think I might try to really have a relationship with Stephanie. She’s a nice girl.”

“Do you want to hang out again some time?” Robert asks. Ronnie nods.

Brice was surprised to see Ronnie and Robert in the kitchen with each other.

“It’s crazy saying this, but it’s surprising to see you two in the same room together. I know some time after Robert’s 16 birthday you two drifted apart. Have you two finally solved your differences?” Brice asked.

“Dad, it’s really not important.” Ronnie said and got a drink out of the fridge. He sits down at the table and opened his drink and takes a sip.

“Ronnie, I heard you been getting into a lot of trouble lately, you gonna cool it with the stupid shit?” Robert asks. Ronnie shrugs his shoulders.

Back at Alana’s home, all the girls were packing their bags to go back home.

“Thank you all for coming. I know I already thanked you but I am happy for what you all did for me.” Alana says with a smile. “It was great to sit up watching movies and then passing out afterwards.”

“It sure was!” Katie said happily. “We should all have a girl day and go shopping! It will be a total blast! After the mall shopping we could have another sleepover! But take turns at each other’s places.”

“We could. That will be okay with me if it will be okay with you girls.” Stephanie said agreeing with Katie.

Madison was slowly putting her pajamas in the bag she brought. “I wonder who heard my conversation with Tj? Was it a maid?” Madison wondered. She seemed to be deep in thought. Alana stared at her.

“I don’t think I should ask Madison anything about her and Tj together. It’s really none of my business. Maybe I shouldn’t have been eavesdropping on the both of them…” Alana thought to herself feeling bad. 

Robert decided to eat some food his father made. Ronnie finished eating first and sat his plate in the sink.

“I’m heading out.” Ronnie says and left.

“Where’s he going?” Brice asks.

“I bet he’s going over that girl’s place. That Stephanie chick.” Bryan responded.

“Is she Ronnie’s girlfriend? He’s been over her place most of time these days.” Brice wondered.

“Hmm, maybe?” Robert wasn’t sure if Ronnie was dating Stephanie or not.

Stephanie had gotten home to her apartment and took her bag with her that had her clothes and pajamas from when she slept over Alana’s home the night before. She sits the bag on her bed and starts taking the clothes out and was putting them away in her laundry basket.

“It was great to hang with the girls. It amazes me. I never had friends growing up but now I do when I am becoming an adult soon. Its funny, but those girls are really okay. I am surprised about Lacy and I. How we seem to get along and in the past I don’t think we would’ve. I guess sometimes things change over time?” Stephanie takes the bag that was on her bed and puts it into her closet.

There was a knock at the door. “That has to be Ronnie.” Stephanie thought to herself and smiled a little. “Ronnie…” She began to blush. “I better answer the door.” Stephanie left her bedroom and went to the front door. Once she unlocked it and got it opened Ronnie puts his arms around her. She blushes and was startled at first.

“R-Ronnie?”

“I missed you.” Ronnie says to her. Stephanie’s face turns more red.

“Y-You did? But you like Lacy?” Stephanie says.

“Stephanie, I decided to give that up. It’s been years you know?” Ronnie lets of her. Stephanie stares up at him.

“Apart of me feels unsure about that… But I… I really do…” Stephanie thinks to herself and was blushing more. “I really do like him.” Stephanie felt like she couldn’t hold back as she stood on her tippy toes and brought her lips to Ronnie’s.  Ronnie kisses her lips back. Stephanie felt like she didn’t want to stop kissing him. She was enjoying herself too much.

Ronnie stops her. “Are you going to let me in?” Ronnie asks her. Stephanie smiled at him.

“How about we go out somewhere?” Stephanie suggested.

“You don’t want me in your apartment?” Ronnie asked confused with her. Stephanie giggled a little.

“Don’t be silly.” She replied. Stephanie gets out of the apartment, locks the door and takes Ronnie’s hand. “Let’s go.” She smiles at him. He blushed a little as he stared at her.

Lacy was in her bedroom sitting on her bed. “I wish I could’ve went to see Robert today. I like spending the night over with him…” Lacy looked out the window that was near her bed. The curtain was open and she could tell that it looked like if it was about to rain. 

“Days like this makes me think about… The past. Where I feel like I was just wasn’t thinking straight. I honestly feel bad.” Lacy gets up off her bed to close the curtains in her bedroom. “I feel bad because I feel like I hurt Ronnie. So much… I can understand why he hates me. I wouldn’t admit who I loved and basically used him. And… I am surprised Robert even likes me at all. I kinda used him too at first it seems like but… I really…” Lacy took a deep breath. “But I really love Robert. I like Ronnie, but… my feelings for Robert are stronger and always were.”

Stephanie and Ronnie went to see a movie together. The whole time, Stephanie kept glancing back at Ronnie who seemed to not be paying attention to her and was focused on the movie.

“I just want things to stay like this.” Stephanie thinks to herself and smiles a little at Ronnie. “I want Ronnie to open his eyes and realize that I like him and think we should be together.”

After the movie, Stephanie and Ronnie noticed the rain that was coming down. “Oh man! I should’ve brought my umbrella!” Stephanie said and started to laugh.

“We both are going to be drench by the time we make it back to your apartment.” Ronnie chuckles with her. The two of them tried to make it back to Stephanie’s apartment the quickest they could. The rain made things more difficult as by the time they made it back, the two were completely drenched.

“We both need to shower and get into dry clothes so we don’t get sick.” Stephanie said and went to her bedroom to pick out an outfit to wear. “You left some clothes here and they been clean, so…”

“Yeah.” Ronnie laughs. Stephanie liked seeing Ronnie laughing. He seemed to be in a good mood actually instead of his grumpy mood.

“Should I take my shower first or you want to go first?” Stephanie asks as she grabbed her towel.

“Let’s get in it together! Or one of us will get sick.” Ronnie tells her. Stephanie blushes red and felt her heart beat.

“O-Okay.” She starts to get nervous.

“There’s nothing to be shy about.” Ronnie started taking Stephanie’s clothes off. Her heart started beating faster and she felt like it was going to rip out of her chest.

“He’s going to see my body… Just stop…” Stephanie thought to herself but didn’t say a word. She lets Ronnie strip her down to she’s naked. Ronnie started taking his clothes off in front of her and Stephanie started to feel like that she couldn’t keep her eyes off of him. She kept looking at him. Her eyes widen. Ronnie noticed she was staring.

“What is it baby, you like what you see?” Ronnie teased a little. Stephanie felt like she was nervous to respond. Ronnie finished getting undressed and pushes her against the wall. “You know what I think? I think that you would look very sexy wearing some sexy lingerie with your face looking up at me. Heh, I bet you would also look good down on your knees.”

“R-Ronnie…” Stephanie blushed looking up at him. “I think… I think that you would...you would…” Stephanie was nervous and Ronnie could tell.

“Come on, doll. I am not going to get mad. Say what you want to say to me.” Ronnie said and chuckled a little.

“I think that you… That you would taste...I think that you would taste good!” Stephanie just eventually blurts out and forced her eyes shut. There was a silence in the room for a few seconds and Stephanie opens her eyes to look at Ronnie who was smiling at her.
