Max felt like he wanted to help his younger brother, Louie. He wanted to help him get with Sabrina. Sabrina was a girl that Louie had a crush on. Sabrina was Craig’s younger sister, but didn’t seem interested in Louie. Max was hanging together with Craig as he wanted him to help out trying to set their younger siblings up together.
“You’re younger brother really likes my little sister?” Craig asked surprised to Max.
“Yeah, Louie just refuses my help though. Please help with Sabrina. Talk to her. Louie really likes her. He says he tries to be mature because he knows that Sabrina likes mature guys.”
“Hmm, Sabrina has been hooked on that Tj guy for a while. Tj told me before he wouldn’t try anything with her but he doesn’t dislike her.”
“Yeah but, he’s too old for her. Let’s try to set up Sabrina with my younger brother. It will be cool. Wouldn’t it?” Max asked with a smile upon his face.
“I don’t know.” Craig sighs. “I don’t want Sabrina to get angry with me. She has a friend. Jalicia, who is angry with me.”
“Jalicia? Why is that girl angry with you?” Max asked.
“Because she was one of the girls I just slept with.” Craig admits. “I feel bad about it but she is still sort of upset with me. I am afraid if I try to tell Sabrina about your brother Louie, she will tell Jalicia.”
“Who cares.” Max walks out of the living room. He was at Craig’s home. He made his way to Sabrina’ bedroom and opened the door. She glares at him.
“How rude! Don’t you knock you big ogre?!” Sabrina snaps at Max.
“I wanted to ask you something.”
“If it’s for a date, I am not interested.” Sabrina stuck her tongue out at him.
“Wow. She’s so immature and clams to be mature?” Max thought to himself.
“What are you doing in here? Get out.”
“I wanted to talk to you about a guy. A guy that might interest you.” Max tells her. She stares confused.
“I am only interested in Tj. He’s my dream.” Sabrina turned her head and wasn’t looking at Max now. “if you don’t mind, leave.”
“No!” Max walks over to her. “Come on, he’s my younger brother. His name is ‘Louie’. You were in his class last year. Can’t you give him some thought?” Max asks her. She stares at Max.
“I thought you and him look similar. No. I don’t like him that way.” Sabrina turned her head again. She was decorating a scrap book. Gluing pictures in it of her family.
“Aren’t you a rude one?”
“I don’t have no interest in anyone but Tj. He’s the only one I love. Now get out.” Max left the bedroom.
“She doesn’t want anyone else does she?” Craig asked Max.
“I am still going to try.” Max answered.
“Good luck. Couple of guys from her school came around asking her out. She turned them down. She wants Tj.” Craig laughed a little. “Sabrina is stubborn and all she likes is Tj. Nothing will change that for now.” Craig walks away and went to the kitchen.
“Hmm… How do I get them together? Louie really likes her too. I don’t understand why she just won’t go out on a date with him and give him a try? She didn’t even do that and she already decline. She really is rude.” Max thought to himself. “She would fit well with Louie since he’s got a attitude too.” Max left. He went home. Craig came out of the kitchen and noticed he didn’t see Max.
“I wonder where he went?” Craig thought. “Oh well…”
Max went home. Louie was watching TV. “I want to talk to you.” Max tells Louie. There was no answer. “Aren’t you rude.” Max sat down by Louie. “I want to speak to you.” There was not a response from Louie. He was ignoring Max completely. “Answer me you little asshole!” Max slaps Louie at the back of his head. Louie held his head and glares at him.
“Leave me alone!” He snapped. “I don’t have to speak with you! Go away!”
“I wanted to talk to you about Sabrina.”
“I don’t care! Leave me alone!” Louie got up and stormed out of the living room. He went straight to their bedroom and slammed the door. Locking it. Max followed him and noticed that Louie locked the door.
“Hey! You can’t lock me out! This is my bedroom too!” Max yelled.
“Well, leave me alone! I don’t feel like talking to you! Go away!” Louie responded coldly to his older brother. Davina came into the hallway. She heard the commotion.
“Is everything alright?” Davina asked Max.
“I just wanted to talk to Louie about Sabrina. He ran in the bedroom and locked the door. What should I do?” Max asks his mother.
“Max, you’re supposed to be the older sibling. If Louie doesn’t want to talk about her you can’t force him. Just leave him be.” Davina tells Max. She knocked on the bedroom door. “And you Louie, please do not keep your brother locked out. That’s his bedroom too. Please try to get along.” Davina walks away.
“I guess playing cupid was silly of me. I really wanted to help too.” Max left and went to the living room to call Craig on the phone. The one to answer the phone wasn’t Craig.
“Who is this?” Sabrina asked. She had answered the phone.
“Max, I wanted to know if Craig was there to tell him I went home.” Max tells Sabrina.
“You just missed him. I think he left to go over Katie’s house.” Sabrina tells Max.
“Since you’re on the phone… are you sure you don’t want to date my younger brother?” Max asked. Sabrina hung the phone up. “What a rude girl!” Max hung the phone up as well after he noticed she hung up on him.
Sabrina sat down on the sofa. “I don’t understand why he wants me to date his younger brother so bad. I like Tj.” Sabrina looked down. “I feel like I loved him for a while now… But Tj acts like I am such a kid and he won’t even notice me. I wonder if I should just give him up? Maybe it’s not meant to be. I know that Paige likes Tj’s older brother, Lionel. They are going to have a baby and are dating even though they fight sometimes. Doreen is a good friend and she started dating Kevin. Kevin is Tj’s best friend.” Sabrina sighs. “There’s Jalicia and she isn’t dating anyone. I don’t even think Tj is dating anyone.” Sabrina was starting to have doubts if she should still continue to have feelings for Tj. A guy that doesn’t seem to notice her.
Louie finally came out of the bedroom. “I don’t know why he’s bothering me. Sabrina doesn’t like me. She likes that stupid Tj guy. A guy that doesn’t like her like I do.” Louie thought to himself. “I know if I try to talk to her and ask her out, she will say ‘no’. I already know.” Louie went to the living room and saw Max.
“Finally came out of hiding?” Max asks. Louie didn’t stare at him. “I don’t know why you won’t talk to me? You act like you hate me. But guess what? I don’t hate you. I just want to get along with you but you always have something rude to say. I don’t know why though. I was just trying to help you and Sabrina. I wanted to set you two up because you like her. But Sabrina is so rude just like you. Honestly, you two would make a good match.” Max picked up the remote and flipped the channel. “I am through helping though. You both can remain single all I care.”
“That’s good. Keep your nose out of my business.” Louie said and walks out of the living room.
“He really is mean and same with Sabrina. Can’t talk to either one of them.” Max thought to himself. The phone began to ring. Max picked it up. “What?’
“Isn’t that a rude way to respond on a phone call?” Sabrina asks. Max could tell it was her.
“Why are you calling? You wanted me to leave you alone. Right?” Max felt like she was confusing.
“I did, but… maybe I was being a little too harsh. Louie is… a boy I had a lot of classes with growing up. We seemed to always be put in the same homeroom. Is he really your younger brother?” Sabrina asks. She was actually blushing.
“Yeah, he is. You both are rude and ignore people.” Max tells her.
“Well… I…” Sabrina started to feel a little shy. “I would… um… like to talk to him…”
“I’ll get him.” Max was surprised that Sabrina wanted to talk to Louie. He got up and sat the phone down and went to look for Louie. He found him in the kitchen eating a popsicle. “You got a phone call for you.”
“No I don’t. Leave me alone.” Louie thought that Max was joking with him. Pulling a prank on him.
“I am not pulling a prank on you. Go in there.” Max said. Louie refused to go. Max grabbed him and dragged him into the living room.
“LET ME GO!” Louie yelled. Max threw him on the sofa and handed him the phone.
“Answer it. It’s for you.” Max tells him and left the living room.
“H-Hello?” Louie nervously said as he held the phone to his ear.
“Is this Louie…?” Sabrina asks nervously.
“It… Is…” Louie responds.
“Oh, this is Sabrina. We had class together.” Sabrina felt nervous talking to Louie. She wasn’t sure why her heart was beating fast. Louie was surprised that Sabrina had called him but was happy. The two talked on the phone for over an hour. They got along really well.
It only took exactly three days and the two went on their first date. After their first date, the two seemed to get along so well. Sabrina felt like she was forgetting about Tj as she started a relationship with Louie. Louie was happy that he was able to date Sabrina, the girl he had a huge crush on. Max and Louie seemed to be doing better now as Louie was thankful for Max for helping him and Sabrina get together. Craig was surprised that his younger sister decided to date someone her age instead of obsessing with Tj. It was different but Max felt happy for them.
