It was a sunny day in summer. It was still in July and not quite Robert’s birthday yet. Katie went to the beach with Craig’s family. Alana was helping her mother prepare for the wedding soon. Her father was soon going to marry Calluna. Alana was shopping with Calluna to look at dresses. Alana was also going to be a part of the wedding. Calluna and Alana seemed to be getting along well now. Calluna was beginning to feel like Alana was a like a daughter she never had to her. Madison felt bored. She was looking out the window of her bedroom and sighs.
“I am so bored! I didn’t bother going to the beach with Katie because I thought it would be better if she spent time with Craig and his family. Then there’s Alana going shopping with her new step mom. I feel like I have no one to hang with right now.” Madison said to herself. An image of Bryan started to appear in Madison’s head and she blushed. “I don’t know if Bryan would think I am annoying if I wanted to hang out together with him.” She nervously mumbles. “But we are dating…”
Madison decided to go to the living room and called up Bryan’s home. Robert picked up the phone. “Who is this?” Robert asks.
“This is Madison, is Bryan there?” Madison asked.
“I’ll get him. Hold on.” Robert sat the phone down to get his younger brother who was in the kitchen trying to pour himself a cup of milk. “Madison is on the phone for you.” Robert said opening the kitchen door.
“Alright!” Bryan said. He got a little nervous and started to spill milk. Robert went over there and got the milk jug.
“Just go get the phone.” Robert said. Bryan left the kitchen and went into the living room to answer Madison on the phone. Robert was cleaning up Bryan’s spill. Bryan picked up the phone.
“Madison?” Madison heard Bryan’s voice on the phone.
“Bryan? I was wondering if you wanted to do something together today?” Madison asks. She blushes and felt a little nervous asking him.
“I would like to. Do you want me to come over there or do you want to come over here?” Bryan asks her.
“I can come over! We can play a video game together.” Madison suggested.
“Okay.” Bryan felt happy knowing that Madison wanted to come over and hang with him. They both got off the phone. Robert came out of the kitchen and seen Bryan looking happy.
“Did you two have a good conversation or what? You’re all smiley.” Robert said noticing Bryan’s smile upon his face.
“Madison is coming over! We’re going to play a game! Alright?” Bryan tells his older brother. “Why don’t you go on a date or something? The grown ups need alone time.”
“Grown ups? You and Madison aren’t adults.” Robert said and chuckled a little. “I’m leaving anyways. I got a da-I mean I am just going out. Ronnie is here though.” Robert said and left the living room.
“I wonder if I should bring some snacks out for Madison and me? We can have little cakes and candy!” Bryan blushed. He went into the kitchen and was getting some snacks out for him and Madison to eat while they played a game together.
Madison was in her bedroom trying to fix her hair. It was just not too long ago that her family moved into an apartment now. She had her own bedroom while her parents had theirs. Madison’s uncle no longer lived with her as he was now living with Max and his family. Till this day, Madison still felt a little odd that Max was actually her cousin. She never even knew he was until not too long ago. It felt a little odd to her, but she didn’t dislike Max. Madison just thought of him like an older brother figure.
Madison decided to put her hair up in a ponytail. She puts a bow into her hair as well. “I think that looks fine.” Madison said staring at a tiny mirror on her desk. She felt like she looked fine. She was had on a yellow shirt with a pink heart on it. She also had on blue jean shorts. She wanted to wear something cool because it was hot outside. Madison got her socks and shoes on and left her bedroom. When she was leaving she saw her mother in the living room.
“Mommy! I am going to go hang out with Bryan right now. Okay?” Madison wanted to make sure her mom knew where she was going.
“That’s fine. Be back before dinner.” Monica replies to her daughter. “Also, be careful walking out there.” Madison nods and left the apartment. She went straight to Bryan’s home to play a video game with him.
Katie and Craig were at the beach. They were in the water together. “It seems like things went by fast. I mean, there were a lot of ups and downs, but I am glad my family is together again. I am also glad that we’re together.” Craig smiles and blushes at Katie. She blushed as well.
“I agree. I may have been hurt around Valentine’s Day because of what Robert did but… I don’t feel angry with him. I feel like I am happy not to be together with him. I am happy to be with you.” Katie smiles. Craig felt his heart beat fast as he stared at her. He liked her smile.
“So, why did you decided to get purple for a bathing suit?” Craig asks her. She turned her head and didn’t stare at him.
“Um… well… I want to swim!” Katie went back swimming. Craig just smiles as he stared at her.
“Purple is a color I like.” Craig thought to himself.
Madison had made it to Bryan’s home and he lets her in the house. When she got there, they started to play a video game together. They were having a lot of fun. At Madison’s home, she didn’t have no game system so playing it was like a treat to her. She was somewhat interested in video games. Sure she liked her dolls more, but video games were alright with her too. The two were playing a fighting game together.
“Oh wow! I won!” Madison happily smiled. She couldn’t believe that she beat Bryan at the video game they were playing.
“Whatever! I can beat you next time! My new team I will use will be a lot better than what I used before!” Bryan said grumpily. He was a little upset that he didn’t win, but he wasn’t furious with Madison as he knew it was just a game. Madison was enjoying the video game.
“I like this game. You have more too, don’t you?” Madison asks.
“Yes, we do. There’s more.” Bryan responds. Madison blushed a little. She started to feel a little nervous and not concentrate correctly playing the game because she kept glimpsing back at Bryan. The game was over and Bryan won this time.
“See? I told you I was going to get a better team.” Bryan said with a smile.
“We both won one match. I think that’s fair. Don’t you think?” Madison asked. He nods in agreement. “How about the next round is the winner?” Madison suggests. Bryan liked the suggestion and went for it with her.
When Robert left, he actually went on a date with Lacy. Together, they went shopping at a few stores and even ate out to eat food. Everything seemed to be going well for Lacy. She was enjoying her date. The whole time she didn’t even think once about Ronnie. Instead, she had her thoughts on Robert. She was hoping he was having a good time with her.
“No more, huh? You get to have dates with me any time you want.” Lacy smiled at Robert .
“That’s because you belong to me.” Robert held Lacy’s hand. She started to feel a little nervous.
“You know, since we started dating, we didn’t actually did anything too sexual.” Lacy noticed.
“I was waiting for you to realize that.” Robert went into an aisle at the store that they were in. They were in a bookstore looking at books. Lacy had followed him since she was holding hands with him.
“Why? Did you have something planned after this date?” Lacy asked with a devilish smile upon her face.
“Did you want to?” Robert asks her and let’s go of her hand to pick up a book off the shelf. He was flipping through it and just glancing at the words.
“Only if you’re up for it. I am not forcing you.” Lacy laughed a little. “Not that I need to anyways.”
“This book seems interesting.” Robert thought to himself. He closed the book and was thinking about buying it. “Did you wanted anything?”
“Hmm…” Lacy picked up a book. “I want this one.” She tells Robert and hands it to him.
“Alright, let’s go in line.”
Madison had won the next battle. “I won again! I am victorious!” She happily smiles. Bryan blushed staring at her.
“She’s cute when she’s so happy.” Bryan thought to himself. Madison stares back at Bryan.
“W-Why is he staring at me?!” She wonders. Bryan sits his controller down and uses his both hands to touch Madison’s face. She began to get nervous all over again. “W-What’s he trying to do?! Is he going to kiss me?!” Madison closes her eyes tight. She wasn’t for sure if Bryan was going to kiss her or not. She was getting very shy at the moment. She felt like her heart was going to rip out of her chest. Bryan let’s go of Madison’s hair and uses one hand to grab her ponytail. She opens her eyes.
“Why don’t you got your pigtails?” Bryan asks.
“Because I wanted to wear my hair this way. Is that a crime?” Madison asks. Bryan laughed a little and yanked on her hair. She glares at him and pushes him away, causing him to let go of her hair. “What’s the matter with you?!” Madison asks him. “It’s rude to pull people’s hair!”
“It is? But… I overheard Robert and Lacy one day whispering to each other about pulling each other’s hair. Why?” Bryan asks confused. Madison thought it was weird for them to even be whispering about it.
“I have no idea. I know nothing about Lacy or your older brother. The both of them are pretty weird.” Madison responds with honestly. “Is there another video game we can play?”
“How about this one?” Bryan shows her another game. He had gotten up from the sofa and pulled a game off the shelf.
“Okay!” Madison agreed to play the game that Bryan showed her.
In the evening, Katie and Craig were together. Craig’s family had gone home. Craig on the other hand, went to Katie’s home. When they got there, the cat that Katie took in went by Craig and rubbed on his legs. “I can tell you’re loved.” Katie giggles a little. “Want to watch a movie?”
“Sure.” Craig replied. Katie puts a movie on in the living room and was sitting on the sofa. Watching it. Craig started to watch it when he sat down by her.
“This seems a little romantic, but… I don’t know. I wonder if Craig is upset with me because I won’t let him get too far with me. I don’t want him to think I am boring or that I hate him. It’s not like that at all. I love Craig so much… It’s just I feel like it’s not right doing anything like that before marriage. That’s just my personal opinion though.” Katie thought to herself. Craig touches her hand. Katie felt like she wasn’t sure how to respond.
“Katie, I love you.” Craig said staring at her. She stares at him. She watched as he brought his face close to hers. Katie knew that he was going to kiss her. She closes her eyes and accepts the kiss. She kisses his lips back.
