Bryan was staring at Madison. “Cant you tell me what’s wrong?”
“It’s personal.” Madison said and looks the other way.
“Personal?” Bryan asks confused. “Are you going to play some games today?”
“I don’t feel like it.” Madison replied. Bryan left the cabin.
“I hope Madison is alright.” Bryan felt worried about Madison. Michael heard him and walks over to him.
“Madison? What’s wrong with her?” Michael asks.
“She said she isn’t sick but she seems upset.” Bryan responded. “She told me it was personal and wouldn’t tell me much anymore.”
“Maybe it is personal. I wouldn’t bother with her alright?” Michael suggested.
“I know… But… I really care about her.” Bryan says feeling worried about Madison.
“It’s alright to feel worried, but if she says it’s personal. It’s personal. Don’t ask her about it. Maybe it’s embarrassing.” Michael walks away. Bryan just wasn’t sure what was wrong with Madison.
Alana had gone to the Luxton’s family house. She seen Robert outside. “Hello.” She said to him. He stares at her confused.
“What are you doing here?” He asks her. “No one invited you.”
“I know that. I came here because… well… Lacy is confused right now.”
“Confused about what?” Robert asks and sighs.
“She is unsure if you and Ronnie really want to both be with her? She is too scared to ask you both. If you both are really comfortable sharing her, she feels upset about it.”
“She is upset about that again? I thought we already settled that?” Robert asks and pulled a cigarette out and starts to smoke yet again.
“I am not sure why she feels this way… But she did tell me she overheard you and Ronnie. That you both hated it. That you both don’t want to share her. I just want your opinion about it.”
“I do hate it, but… At the same time I am already used to it. I don’t hate Ronnie. He’s my brother and hell it is weird that we both are with the same girl, but… I don’t know. I do get jealous. I admit. I do like having her whenever I want and having her to myself sounds like… a really good idea. But… like I said. I am already used to sharing her. I love Lacy anyways…”
“Wow. You admit that?” Alana asks surprised. “And I was heard that you used to not believe in love.”
“Shut up…” Robert mumbled embarrassed.
“Can I go inside? I want to ask Ronnie the same question too for Lacy.”
“Go ahead.” Robert replied. Alana goes into the house and was looking for Ronnie. She found him upstairs staring at a magazine in his bedroom. He was laying on his bed.
“Hello!” Alana said with a smile. Ronnie was startled when he heard her. He quickly closed his magazine and stuffed it under his pillow.
“What the hell?! What are you even doing here?!” Ronnie asks surprised.
“I came because I have a question to ask you.”
“I don’t feel like answering questions.” Ronnie responded and turns away from Alana.
“But Lacy wanted me to ask you.”
“What about Lacy?” Ronnie turned back around and looked at Alana.
“Lacy is upset. She thinks you and Robert are upset with her because you both don’t want to share her really.”
“This again?” Ronnie asks.
“Funny, Robert said the same thing. She really is… well… she wants to know if it really bothers you?”
“Of course it bothers the hell out me. I can’t stand it that Robert thinks he can be with her too after he said he didn’t believe love exists. It pisses me off! I want Lacy all to myself!”
“I guess he has a right for that… But Lacy probably will be upset.” Alana thought to herself.
“I can’t stand Robert!” Ronnie seemed angry.
“You don’t hate your brother do you?” Alana asks.
“I don’t. I am just mad that he is trying to get Lacy to like him too! We were having a perfect relationship until he got her confused again! When it was winter break it was perfect!”
“You mean sometime around when Lacy ended up pregnant but she lost it later?”
“She lost it later alright. But we were happy together and he had to ruin it!” Ronnie seemed upset.
“Ronnie, that’s awful about the miscarried baby. I know you two… are young but… It probably makes you both feel uneasy.” Ronnie didn’t answer her. “I agree, Lacy should just choose just one of you. But at the same time I am her friend and I can’t force her to do anything.” Alana left the bedroom and left the house. “I am not sure. Should I tell her what Ronnie said? I don’t want to hurt her feelings.”
Lacy was waiting for Alana to arrive. A maid had let Lacy in and she was sitting on the sofa at the moment. Tj happen to notice her and came into the living room.
“What is a pretty girl like you doing here? Looking for me?” Tj asked Lacy. Flirting with her. Lacy glares at him.
“Don’t even try to pick me up. I am waiting for Alana to come home. She is going to talk to me about something.” Lacy said to Tj.
“Oh. I get it. You’re friends with Alana. But you really are cute.” Tj winks at her.
“Don’t even flirt with me. I am involved with two guys already.” Lacy rudely responds to Tj.
“Really? Promiscuous aren’t you?” Tj laughed. Lacy didn’t find it amusing.
“Promiscuous my ass. I don’t go around screwing other guys. I just like two guys. Now bug off!” Tj left Lacy alone. Alana made it home and found Lacy in the living room.
“I am sorry. Did you have to wait long?” Alana asks her. She shook her head.
“No I didn’t, but your goofy step brother tried to pick me up.”
“You mean Tj?” Alana asked and giggled a little. “He is a big flirt. When Katie came over to visit me one day he did the same thing. Yeah, he will be my step brother but he’s really my half brother.” Alana sits down on the sofa next to Lacy. “My father is going to marry Tj’s mother very soon. They’re planning everything out.”
“Did you find out about the two? What did they say? Am I correct?” Lacy asks and then looks down.
“Well, Robert… He told me that he didn’t like the idea, but he is slowly not caring because he wants to do anything for you. He admits he loves you.” Alana said. Lacy wasn’t sure how she felt about that confession from Robert.
“And what about Ronnie? He’s usually the nicer of the two of them. He probably told you something similar or nicer, right?” Lacy asks. Alana wasn’t sure how to respond to that. “Am I right?” Lacy asks. She stares at Alana. She noticed a different look from Alana. A look of upset. “Ronnie is angry with me? He said something meaner than Robert?” Lacy asked. Alana nods.
“I am sorry. Ronnie… he said… he said that he didn’t like the idea. He hates it. He said he didn’t want you to be with Robert too. But… But he told me that he loves you! He said he wanted to be the only one with you!” Alana tells Lacy. It wasn’t enough to make Lacy feel any better.
“I guess that sums it up.” Lacy stood up.
“What are you going to do?” Alana asks. “Are you going to continue being the girlfriend to the both of them?” Alana asks.
“No. I am not. I am thinking of… Choosing one. I can’t forget either of them, but… now I need to choose.”
“You’re going to choose? Who do you have in mind?” Alana asks.
“You’ll see.” Lacy left the house. “I have to do this. I can’t do this to the both of them anymore. I either choose one or let them both go free. It is selfish of me to think I can have the both of them. I am a selfish person. I really like the both of them. They both are so…” Lacy made it to the Luxton’s house. Robert was no longer on the porch. No one was outside. She was staring at the house. She took a deep breath.
“It looks like I made it here. But who should I choose?” Lacy thought to herself. “I got to think… Robert. Robert has a little attitude. He was there for me though. He saved me from Steven. Ronnie was there for me too. Ronnie has always been a little more nicer to me than Robert.” Lacy brought her hand to her head. “This is giving me a headache. They both act like they were happy with me. Happy to just have things as they were and here I am again. Messing it all up.”
Robert opened the door. “What are you doing?” Robert asks staring at her. “Why are you here right now? Did you wanted to hang?” Robert asks. Lacy stared at him. She then looked down. “Are you feeling well?” Robert was unsure about Lacy. She walks over towards him.
“Robert… I need to stop this. Stop this selfishness of me. I can’t have the both of you.”
“What are you talking about now?” Robert asks her. Lacy came onto the porch and stood in front of Robert.
“You’re getting taller aren’t you?”
“Y-Yeah… So?” Robert blushes.
“You’re taller than me now! I remember when I first met you. You were shorter than me!” Lacy laughed a little. Robert glares at her.
“Hey!”
“Robert, I love you.” Lacy took his face and brought it close to hers. Kissing him. Robert was confused what she was doing. “I need to stop this. I really do. This time, for real.” Lacy moves her lips away from Robert before he could kiss her back.
“Lacy?”
“You’re cute.” She smiles a little at him. Robert blushes. “Robert. I am being serious.”
“What do you mean?” Robert asks her confused.
“I mean it. I am giving one of you up.”
“W-What?!” Lacy lets herself in the house. Robert shuts the door and stares at her. “What do you mean?!”
“It means what I mean!” Lacy replied and then looks down. “I am sorry. Robert, I really… I do love you. But at the same time I love Ronnie.”
“I know that already.” Robert said to her. He was confused.
“I got pregnant by Ronnie and miscarried it. I don’t think… I don’t think I will ever fully recover from that. I didn’t want a baby, but at the same time I feel upset about that. And… I don’t think I should…”
“Should what?” Robert wasn’t sure what Lacy was getting at, but she looked upset to him.
“I don’t think that I should be with you. I don’t think I should. Because Ronnie won. He got me pregnant first. Even though it died, it still…” Lacy starts to cry. “I should be with him and we both can heal together from that event.”
“Lacy?” Robert couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He didn’t want to lose Lacy to Ronnie. “You did this before! Remember?! You couldn’t stop thinking about me too!” Robert grabs her shoulders.
“That is true… but this time. It has to be for real now. Robert. I mean it.” Lacy was staring at another direction. “I need to be with Ronnie. He is the one that won that competition.”
“Lacy! I don’t give a damn about that! Are you sure you want to do this?!” Robert felt like his heart was breaking right in front of him.
