Those Kids/Those Three originally was first created in 2012. Playing Sims Bustin' Out and creating random Sims that were so enjoyable, and creative that they were then created into a series. Some characters were originally created by Angelcake, sister of Violette Purple. Such as characters Madison, Alana, Craig, Katie, and Max. Violette Purple created characters Robert, Ronnie, Lacy, and Bryan.
All characters were given to Violette Purple to create and be made into this story.
Violette Purple has fondness for these characters because it's around the time her and her sister, Angelcake, had gotten close because they both were both being bullied by another family member. Healing through creation.
While creating the series, the series went through different changes over the years and some details and character information had also changed. Such details are...
The first idea was having all of them staying in a house together by their parents but it made no sense, and it later was the idea of having them in a boarding school. But that also got dropped.
Some characters birthdays changed for personal reasons. Madison used to be born November 14th. Max was at the end of August and once September 13th. Craig's used to be January 5th. Katie's July 3rd. Lacy's May 27th. Robert's May 28th. Bryan's February 10th. But I felt this didn't suit them and changed them. Robert's to July 28th, Lacy's to April 27th, Bryan's to January 10th, Craig's to March 26th, Max's to May 13th, Katie's to December 28th, and Madison's to June 2.
In the original idea, there was no plans for Lacy choosing Robert. She was going to just stay with both, but Angelcake suggested making Stephanie, thus Stephanie was designed and created.
Story ideas were created in 2012 of summer. Some of the characters were randomly named from a favorite band of Violette Purple's and Angelcake's at the time.
There was once a concept of Lacy going to be pregnant by both Robert and Ronnie but ditched it because it was weird.
Alana was originally going to be French but that got dropped.
While the idea of making Stephanie came from Angelcake, Violette Purple named her and designed her. Another part of her concept that Violette Purple designed some of her appearance on an internet model.
Lacy's name came from someone Violette Purple knew as a child but she also loved the name a lot growing up.
Lacy's design was inspired from Raven from Teen Titans 2003 series, as she's Violette Purple's favorite on there.
Max's was inspired from Kukai Soma from Shugo Chara!.
Madison was inspired by Mimi from Chocomimi.
Because of Alana wearing a hat sometimes and used to be french she was a little inspired from Madeline and characters, but the being French concept was dropped. Besides this, Alana's hairstyle was inspired by Karen Momoto's from Time Stranger Kyoko, and also she was also inspired by her too.
Robert's hairstyle was inspired by Peter Tutti from Sims Bustin' Out. While Ronnie's hair was inspired by Woody Tutti from Sims Bustin' Out.
Alana's name came from Alana from Fighting Force.
